Warren Buffet buying oil stocks -- hint?

Warren Buffet is buying oil stocks as crude hits 12 year low.
Do note that Warren Buffet generally doesn't buy with a small duration in mind. Which means, in the long term he is expecting something positive from crude.

Will RIL be in your radar for the long term when crude prices rebound? Or do you have any other stock in your mind?

Monday morning (18th Jan) should we expect another big crash in market?

This is how the US markets ended

Porinju's latest pick

I have never kept it a secret that I am an avid follower of Porinju Veliyath.

As per NSE bulk deals, Porinju bought Indiabulls wholesale shares in the name of his son.

Lets see if Porinju sir's new pick will also be a multi bagger (like his previous picks)

Thoughts?

PPF, NSC rates to be reduced

As per news, it seems the rates of PPF and NSC are set to be reduced.

Refer below links

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/wealth/news/ppf-nsc-rates-to-be-cut-bank-fds-may-fetch-lower-interest/articleshow/50572440.cms

The 10 year NSC was also planned to be discontinued.

Does this force people to go to equity?

I know many people who use PPF for tax saving as well as part of their debt portfolio (me included).

This will affect the overall corpus that people are expecting on maturity.
